Sardaunan Katsina, Alhaji Ahmed Rufa’i, leads solidarity visit to Emir Abdulmumini Kabir Usman

The people of Dankama have paid a special thanksgiving visit to the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Dr. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, CFR, in appreciation of his conferment of the traditional title of District Head of Dankama.
The title was bestowed on Alhaji Ahmad Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, MIM, MBA (ABU), who also holds the title of Dan Majen Katsina.
Leading the entourage was Alhaji Ahmed Rufa’i, the Sardaunan Katsina and former Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA). He described the Emir’s decision as a mark of honour, expressing the gratitude and joy of the people of Dankama.
The thanksgiving event drew relatives, friends, supporters, and traditional titleholders from across the region, who gathered to show solidarity and celebrate the appointment.
Profile of the New District Head of Dankama
Ahmad was born on April 21, 1991, in Katsina State. He obtained a BSc in Business and Information Systems from the University of East London in 2014, followed by an MSc in Information Management and an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He currently serves as Deputy Manager at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), where he specializes in compliance, risk management, and leadership.
Outside his professional career, Ahmad is passionate about reading, polo, and horse riding. Residing in Kaduna, he is widely admired for his innovation, diligence, and commitment to personal and community development.
